Once described as ‘up and coming’ the Northern Quarter is officially the here and now. Known as Manchester’s creative capital, it’s a thriving city-centre hotspot for young professionals. Just an 8-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly, and a 5-minute walk from the Arndale shopping centre.

A vibrant community renowned for an alternative shopping scene of its own, this desirable location is famous for its boutique vintage shops and independent businesses, including florists, bakeries, art galleries and cafés.  

The Northern Quarter and its quirky neighbouring district, Ancoats, are largely responsible for Manchester’s world-class food and dining reputation. With the implementation of High-Speed 2 (HS2), the journey time between Manchester and London will be cut to just 1 hour 11 minutes by 2032.
