Leading property developer, operator and investment specialist Select Property is on track to see its first Birmingham development Lancaster Wharf complete before the end of this year.
The Princip Street scheme, which is part of Select Property’s Affinity Living brand, topped out today (24th February) as construction progresses at pace.
The 266-home build-to-rent project, which secured development finance from Close Brothers last January and is being delivered by Torsion Construction, is already fully sold. The scheme, located just a 10-minute walk from Snow Hill Station and Colmore Row, will embody Affinity Living’s commitment to high-quality, resident-centric homes in the heart of some of the UK’s most vibrant regional cities.
The 23-storey waterfront development will boast spacious one- and two-bed apartments as well as a luxury rooftop garden, private co-working spaces and a state-of-the-art gymnasium. The property will be supported by Select Residential, an in-house lettings business established by the developer last year.
Select Residential already operates four premium Affinity Living residences, all in Manchester, with a 96% occupancy rate and resident satisfaction scores that outstrip other leading developments. Select Property is also building a new flagship Manchester residence One Port Street, which aims to set a new standard in luxury city living.
Alongside Lancaster Wharf, it is also marketing Edition Birmingham in strategic partnership with developer Court Collaboration. The five-star luxury living scheme is set to become Birmingham’s leading luxury residential development.
